About

Nolan Walsh, a Chicago native, brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to VHSC. He grew up playing for Cary Defenders and was a standout player at Cary-Grove High School, where he was a three-year varsity starter. Nolan continued his soccer career at Trinity International University, where he was a four-year varsity starter and competed in the semi-professional circuit in the Chicagoland area.


After graduating, Nolan joined Chicago FC United as a staff coach and administrator, working with various age groups, including their MLS Next teams. Concurrently, he returned to Trinity International University as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, where he helped develop the program and mentored aspiring collegiate athletes.


In 2023, Nolan joined VHSC as the Director of Coaching, bringing his diverse background in coaching, player development, and program management to lead the club’s programs. His commitment to excellence and passion for soccer make him an invaluable part of the VHSC team.
